The lab comprises advanced teaching aids, training Data Centre (under-construction) and a dedicated server to experience the IBM™ Rational Rose, Clear-Quest and Functional Tester. The lab aims to serve engineers with flavor of quality software engineering as the subject is included in the curriculum. The lab aims to hold open discussion and meet-the-industry days in order to help senior students and experienced teachers to cover all technical phases of the software process including requirements, software architecture and design, language-software engineering interface, improving the quality of code, diagnostic measures such as peer reviews and testing, debugging, uses and misuses of metrics, formal approaches, issues in maintenance and operations, constellation of technical and non-technical considerations that impact software engineering quality. This lab has a literature corner for world magazines including TIME™, Readers’ Digest, @Internet, Spider ® and many more. The focus of the ASE’nR Lab reflects the fact that concurrent issues in managerial decision making that impact quality form an important area of discussion which should be fully understood and practised by both, teachers and students.
